List of Super Mario Galaxy trading cards
It has been requested that more images be uploaded for this article. Remove this notice only after the additional images have been added. Specifics: Pictures of the Fun Tats themselves, every card backside, and every side of all foil cards
Super Mario Galaxy trading cards were released to celebrate the release of Super Mario Galaxy. Each booster pack had two regular cards, one trivia card, one standee, and one FunTat.
Fifteen cards also had special foil releases. For each card purchase, there was a one out of six chance that there would be a foil card. There was also a special Spring Mario foil card exclusive to a collector's box. This card was not mentioned in the original two checklists, but only in the checklist that comes with the collector's box.[citation needed]

1 | Mario | Mario, the greatest hero in all the Mushroom Kingdom, takes off on a celestial adventure to rescue Princess Peach. During the Star Festival, Bowser descends in his air fleet and steals the princess away to an unknown place in the galaxy! Now Mario must travel through space, fending off enemies and evil bosses to rescue the princess and restore order to the universe. | ||
2 | Princess Peach | The beloved heroine and ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom has been kidnapped again by the evil Bowser. But this time, he's taken her and her entire castle away to the far off reaches of the galaxy! Princess Peach needs Mario's help to free her from Bowser and thwart his dastardly plan to rule the galaxy with her by his side. Will her trusted Luma help guide Mario to rescue her? | ||
3 | Luigi | Just when you think Mario's heroic little brother is missing from the galaxy, he makes a surprising entrance...but when? After you collect all 120 stars, collect all the purple coins, and defeat Bowser--you get to play as Luigi! Playing as Luigi is a fun challenge because he is more athletic than his brother, and he has some new limitations too--like stopping. So, be careful around the edges and those black holes! | ||
4 | Rosalina | Rosalina's home is the Comet Observatory, a very important place that serves as the launching pad for all of Mario's adventures throughout the universe. She has an expansive knowledge of the universe and is known as a kind and motherly figure, especially to the Lumas-those cute little stars that she adopted who help Mario throughout his journey to save the princess. | ||
5 | Polari | An elderly black Luma that is one of Rosalina's most trusted advisors. Polari serves as Mario's guide to the cosmos from the domes on the Comet Observatory. Polari will show Mario a map of the galaxy showing where he's collected so far. | ||
6 | Toad | Toad is Princess Peach's closest confidant and sworn protector. Typically Toad is a happy character, as seen by the constant smile on his face. But now he has reason to be concerned. His beloved princess has been kidnapped by Bowser, and Toad will stop at nothing to help find her. Just when all is feared lost, Toad and his friends appear in their Mushroom-shaped ships and help guide Mario on his quest to save Princess Peach. | ||
7 | Lumalee | Lumalee, a blue Luma, is the proprietor of the Luma Shop, a traveling store where Mario can buy helpful items, such as 1-Up Mushrooms and Life Mushrooms, for the price of 30 Star Bits. After Mario feeds the Star Bits to the Luma, it will transform into the item that Mario wants to buy. Look for Lumalee when you're getting low on lives! | ||
8 | Star Bunny | These cute little rabbits are called "Star Bunnies" because of their star-tipped ears. They are an important species in Super Mario Galaxy. They help guide Mario throughout the galaxies, help him solve puzzles, provide important information, offer a helping hand, and even offer a Power Star. Star Bunnies are always there to assist. Could they be disguised as another helpful friend? | ||
9 | Apricot Luma | There are no other Lumas in the Galaxy that are like the very special Apricot Luma. This is the Luma that Rosalina gives to Mario in the beginning of the game, who grants Mario the power to do star spins -- a move that will be invaluable against many unforeseen enemies. | ||
10 | Queen Bee | When Queen Bee has a request, it's hard not to oblige. She's quite comfortable in her home in the Honeyhive Galaxy, except for a persistent itch on her back that she just can't seem to scratch. Mario can help when he "powers up" into Bee Mario and crawls around on her back. In the process of helping Queen Bee, Mario finds five Star Chips, which will create a Launch Star that leads him to a Power Star! | ||
11 | Ray | Sometimes while searching the far-off reaches of the galaxy, Mario needs a break to have some fun. Upon entering the Loopdeeloop Galaxy, Ray the Manta Ray appears for a game that the penguins like to play, called "ray surfing." Ray takes Mario for a ride, and as a reward for his good intentions, Mario is provided with a Power Star! | ||
12 | Hungry Luma | Pinkish in color, Hungry Lumas are known to have wide open mouths and carry sticks with Star Bits on the end of them. When Hungry Lumas appear, Mario must feed them Star Bits. They will then transform into a new planet that he needs to explore. To help Mario get there, they will leave behind a Launch Star. Some Hungry Lumas will cost you more Star Bits than others—especially on the Comet Observatory. | ||
13 | Penguin | Penguins in Super Mario Galaxy are blue in color and are happy-go-lucky. Mostly spending their time surfing on Manta Rays, Penguins make their home almost anywhere that water can be found. When Mario arrives on their turf, they invite him to join in their favorite pastime. Find out why this becomes more than just a fun game for Mario! | ||
14 | Penguru | Among every group there must live a wise, old sage, and among the Penguins, it's Penguru. A tall Penguin with a long, grey beard, Penguru lives on an island in the center of the Sea Slide Galaxy, surrounded by enemies. In order to access one of the fives Silver Stars in that galaxy, Mario must ride a water jet to reach Penguru. Watch for him in the Bigmouth and Drip Drop galaxies too. | ||
15 | Bees | What would a queen bee... be... without worker bees? These friendly critters offer Mario a bee suit to "Power Up" and flutter up to their queen, so he can give her some relief from a persistent itch. But there's also a reward for Mario—while crawling around on the queen, he finds some Star Chips that will help him get to the next level. | ||
16 | Coach | If there's one thing penguins need to know how to do, it's swim! That's Coach's primary job as a swim instructor. But when Mario arrives in the Beach Bowl Galaxy, Coach stops to help him find one of the Power Stars in the area—that is, if Mario can bring him a Gold Shell. A tall black penguin, Coach also teaches Mario (and Luigi) how to use those shells to swim faster. | ||
17 | Guppy | Guppy's bark is definitely worse than his bite. This orca may look menacing, but he's really only aggressive to penguins and Toads. To Mario, Guppy is ultimately harmless, but he does present two challenges: he'll make Mario swim through eight rings in one body of water, and if Mario bumps into him, Guppy will bounce him to the floor. Look for Guppy in the Sea Slide Galaxy and the Deep Dark Galaxy. | ||
18 | Gearmo | It's good to have a robot ally when traveling through challenging galaxies such as the Dreadnought or Battlerock. Gearmos are mechanical friends that hold magnets on the end of their wands and have gears on their heads. They are in charge of keeping the ammo depots clean in these areas. But to do this, Gearmos need Mario's help. Throw Bob-ombs at their trash heaps, and if successful within 30 seconds, the prize for Mario is a Power Star! |
Bosses[edit]

---|---|---|---|---|
Front | Backside | |||
19 | Bowser | Mario's archnemesis returns to the Mushroom Kingdom with a dastardly plan in hand. He surprise-attacks during the Star Festival, descending in his air fleet, and kidnaps Princess Peach! He takes her and her entire castle away into the far reaches of the universe, where Mario must travel to rescue her and restore order to the Mushroom Kingdom. | ||
20 | Bowser Jr. | Bowser Jr. will stop at nothing to keep Mario from rescuing the Princess. Bowser Jr. guards three Grand Stars and also commands other bosses to attack Mario at will. Be on the lookout for Bowser Jr. in his Airship Armada, Lava Reactor, and especially when Mario nears Princess Peach! | ||
21 | Bugaboom | Upon entering the Honey Hive Galaxy, Mario must battle this six-legged Mandibug. Defeating it requires three direct hits. Ground-pound it as quickly as possible. Climb a dandelion stalk and jump on his back with a ground pound again. Power up to Bee Mario for the final blow, and your prize will be a Power Star! | ||
22 | Undergrunt Gunner | Dodges and ground pounds are the way to bring down these mean-spirited moles who man cannons in the Gold Leaf Galaxy, the Toy Time Galaxy, and the Deep Dark Galaxy. Mario can also grab a Spring Mushroom to jump on them or throw coconuts at them. Whatever his strategy, he must repeat it three times to destroy this persistent boss. | ||
23 | King Kaliente | Mario must fight this Blooper-octopus boss twice — once in the Good Egg Galaxy, where King Kaliente appears orange, and a second time in Bowser Jr.'s Lava Reactor, where he appears black with red eyes. The secret to beating him is to throw three of his coconuts back at him. But be careful — he becomes wise to Mario's strategy. | ||
24 | Kamella | Kamella first appears in the Space Junk Galaxy, where Mario must fight her to win a Power Star. While dodging her fireballs, Mario must grab the Koopa shells she also fires and throw them back at her, striking her three times. Her attacks become more intense, especially after she summons her friends to help her. | ||
25 | Bonefin[sic] | In the deep, dark recesses of the universe lies the Bonefin Galaxy, a place where not many dare to tread. But Mario must acquire a Power Star from the only planet there and, to do so, must battle Bonefin, a behemoth of the sea with giant, sharp teeth. Knock him out five times using shells from the seafloor, and watch out for its minions. | ||
26 | Major Burrows | Holy Mole-y! Major Burrows lives on one of the planets in the Gusty Garden Galaxy, and when Mario first sees him, he is trying to munch on a cute Star Rabbit! Force him out from underground with a good ground pound, and strike him three times with a star spin to the tail. After Mario defeats the Major, the thankful Star Bunny rewards him with a Power Star. | ||
27 | Megaleg | A Grand Star is at stake in the battle against Megaleg, so Mario knows it won't be easy. With its flylike, light-beam eyes and three huge mechanical legs, this boss lives on its own planet in Bowser Jr.'s Robot Reactor. To defeat Megaleg, confuse the monster's own Bullet Bills so that they slam into its head and destroy it. | ||
28 | Dino Piranha | To collect the first Power Star, battle Dino Piranha in the Good Egg Galaxy. This boss is awakened when Mario breaks open its egg and forces it into battle. Even though Dino is gigantic, Mario can defeat it by star spinning the ball at the end of its tail. Do this three times in order to win and collect the Power Star! | ||
29 | Fiery Dino Piranha | Fiery Dino Piranha is very similar to its counterpart Dino Piranha, but with one scorching difference — it can spit fireballs and its tail becomes burning hot. This presents a new challenge to Mario in the Melty Molten Galaxy where he must battle to collect a Power Star. A few star spins will still defeat the beast, but not when its tail is burning! | ||
30 | Tarantox | A giant, triple-eyed space spider in the Space Junk Galaxy, Tarantox is a formidable boss Mario must battle for a Power Star. Reach the acid-drooling arachnid by sling-podding into its web. Catapult Mario into Tarantox's weak spot (the orbs on its back) to flip the spider on its back. Continue to hit the ones on its belly to hurt it. Do this twice to win the Power Star! | ||
31 | Topmaniac | The leader of the Topmen Tribe, Topmaniac is king of Battlerock Galaxy. This boss resembles a large, red spinning top with spikes on its side that it tries spinning into Mario. To beat him, Mario must jump on top of him, which causes his spikes to retract. Spin Topmaniac into the electrical barriers and win the Power Star! | ||
32 | Bouldergeist | In the Ghostly Galaxy, Mario is ultimately challenged to do battle with Bouldergeist to win a Power Star. An evil mound of rocks, this boss throws boulders and punches at Mario. To defeat it, Mario must swing Bomb Boos into it three times. Act fast and don't forget its shadow figure! | ||
33 | Baron Brr[sic] | Ruling from atop his icy mountain in the Freeze Flame Galaxy, Baron Brr defends himself by pounding shock waves at Mario. To battle this king of cold, Mario must grab an Ice Flower to get close. If Mario spins into him three times, it will destroy his icy exterior and leave behind a Power Star. |
Enemies[edit]
# | Image | Name | Description | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Front | Backside | |||
34 | Kamek | Bowser's evil minion, Kamek, is a powerful wizard who will do anything to please his master. After Bowser hoisted Peach's entire castle out of the ground in a massive laser attack, Mario clung on to the castle walls trying to save her. Kamek saw this and cast a spell on Mario that sent him floating out into the universe. | ||
35 | Spooky Speedster | Mario encounters this restless spirit deep in the Ghostly Galaxy. Spooky Speedster is a Boo that challenges Mario to a race through the cosmos for a Power Star. Mario must use Pull Stars to navigate the creepy, bone-ridden course. If he beats him, Spooky will graciously award the celestial prize. | ||
36 | Koopa Troopa | Koopa Troopas are one of Mario's oldest enemies. They are typically easy to defeat — jump on their heads to flip and immobilize them and then either ground-pound or star-spin into them to permanently send them into the cosmos. Mario can also use the shells to throw at other enemies, smash open things, or swim faster. | ||
37 | Tweester | These tornado-like creatures can be menacing or actually helpful on occasion. Mario must watch out for the debris that flies out from their gusty wake and also be careful if he bumps into them, because they'll send him spinning. But if timed correctly, Mario can do a star spin into a Tweester and fly up higher than any jump could take him. | ||
38 | Gringill | With their large eyes, and even larger, more terrifying teeth, Gringills would like nothing more than to have Mario for lunch! Mario must fight these gigantic eel-like creatures in several galaxies — some enemies just don't know when to quit. Gringills can be defeated by throwing a Koopa shell at them while underwater. | ||
39 | Tox Box | High above the penguin-filled beaches in the Beach Bowl Galaxy, a Launch Star has catapulted Mario onto the Cyclone Stone where he must avoid the attack of the Tox Boxes. These huge metal boxes rumble along their own pathways crushing anything in their path. To avoid being squashed, Mario can run under the enemy's one open side and wait in its hollow center until it rolls ahead on its path. | ||
40 | Wiggler | They may look cute, but there's nothing warm and fuzzy about these caterpillar-like enemies. Mario can dispose of these creepy crawlers by ground-pounding near them. This will cause them to flip over, buying Mario some time to get away. Watch out when they right themselves again, however. They turn bright red and steam-engine toward Mario. Avoid them like the plague! | ||
41 | Mandibug | Under the leadership of Bugaboom, these beetlelike critters have infested the Honeyhive Galaxy and taken over the bees' tower in the "Trouble on the Tower" level. These creepy crawlers are everywhere, including the main tower where Mario must get a Power Star. Ground-pound these baddie bugs as quickly as you can. | ||
42 | Bomb Boo | What could be more terrifying to Mario than Boos—the restless spirits who roam the Ghostly Galaxy? BOMB BOOS! If Mario gets too close to these black-colored Boos, they explode. But he can use them to help him navigate the galaxy and defeat Bouldergeist by grabbing their long, elastic tongues and swinging them at their target. | ||
43 | Topman | Under the rule of Topmaniac, Topmen are part of the Topman tribe and are always trying to attack Mario by spinning into him. Mario must avoid these toplike enemies in the Battlerock Galaxy and the Dreadnought Galaxy. | ||
44 | Pumpkinhead Goomba | One of the many variations of Goombas throughout Super Mario Galaxy, these Goombas live in the Ghostly Galaxy and have a big pumpkin helmet on their heads. They attack by trying to burn Mario with their small blue flames. To destroy them, star spin into their jack-o'-lantern heads and then run into them to send them flying. | ||
45 | Urchin | Urchins are spiky blue fish that Mario must face in an underwater challenge in the Beach Bowl Galaxy and a land mission in the Freezeflame Galaxy. They roll along the seafloor or ground trying to poke Mario with their spikes. There are also red Urchins in lava areas that Mario can hit with a fireball or trick into falling into the lava. | ||
46 | Thwomp | These giant, angry rock creatures are just waiting for something to smash, and Mario is the perfect target. Mario must avoid these enemies by running past them in a carefully timed move. If a Thwomp gets Mario, he automatically loses a life. | ||
47 | Pokey | Watch out for these cactuslike enemies in the Good Egg and Dusty Dune Galaxies. These creatures typically have three to five body segments that Mario must destroy individually. The green Pokeys are easier to defeat--just jump on their heads. The red ones are more challenging -- Mario must star-spin into each body segment. | ||
48 | Piranha Plant | An old enemy of Mario, these large carnivorous plants live in pipes, just waiting to munch on anyone who might try to jump into their territory. These hungry plants can be either red, green, or a larger purple. Mario can stun them by throwing Star Bits at them or kill them by jumping on their heads. | ||
49 | Bullet Bill | Bullet Bills are a long-time enemy of Mario. Once launched from the Bill Blaster, these menacing missiles will follow Mario until they hit something — whether it's him or anything else in their path. Mario can lead Bullet Bills toward objects in order to break them open if needed. | ||
50 | Electrogoomba | This class of Goomba, the long time Mario enemy, is adapted for space. These alien Goombas are found in many areas of the game and attack Mario by trying to headbutt him when he comes near. They can easily be destroyed by jumping on their heads. Electrogoombas are amphibious and have brown, red, and blue subspecies. | ||
51 | Cheep Cheep | Most of these guys are so goofy they can't decide whether they would rather swim or fly! Under water, Cheep Cheeps aren't so dangerous, since mostly they just dawdle. When Mario heads to the underwater worlds, these red fish are a familiar enemy. If Mario bumps them, he'll lose some health, but he can kill them by throwing a Koopa Shell at them or by star-spinning into them. |
Items[edit]

52 | Bee Mushroom | What's all the buzz about? When Mario grabs one of these yellow mushrooms with the brown stripes, he powers up into Bee Mario! This fun and helpful mushroom is first found in the Honeyhive Galaxy after collecting a Question Coin. Bee Mario (or Bee Luigi) has the ability to fly for a short time and climb honeycomb walls. | ||
53 | Boo Mushroom | When traveling through the Ghostly Galaxy, Mario needs some extra help to navigate this scary place filled with Boos and Bouldergeists. A Boo Mushroom is just what he needs. When Mario grabs this white mushroom, he transforms into Boo Mario and is able to float, and pass through solid walls for a short time. | ||
54 | Fire Flower | The Fire Flower transforms Mario into Fire Mario, where he can throw fireballs to defeat enemies. He can also light torches with this power. Mario must use his fire power quickly, because after grabbing the flower, these powers only last a limited time. | ||
55 | Purple Coin | Purple Coins are special coins that only appear when a Purple Comet is in orbit of a galaxy. Mario must travel to each of these galaxies, collecting 100 purple coins in each one in order to reveal the Power Star that is hidden there. | ||
56 | Rainbow Star | These rainbow-colored stars are just what Mario needs to transform into Rainbow Mario! While in his Rainbow form, Mario becomes invincible and leaves a trail of rainbow light behind him. | ||
57 | Ice Flower | The Ice Flowers turn Mario into his Ice Mario form, which allows him to cross bodies of water and lava! Any liquid that Mario touches while in this form turns into hexagonal platforms that he can walk on and cross great distances. Ice Mario can also freeze waterspouts and waterfalls, which allows him passage to higher elevations. | ||
58 | Grand Star | Launch Stars are used to catapult Mario to other planets. Mario must make his way through each planet, battling enemies and bosses or collecting Star Chips. Five Star Chips are needed to make a Launch Star. | ||
59 | Launch Star | Launch Stars are used to catapult Mario to other planets. Mario must make his way through each planet, battling enemies and bosses or collecting Star Chips. Five Star Chips are needed to make a Launch Star. | ||
60 | Lever Switch | Mario will find Lever Switches throughout his travels in the galaxies. When these switches are pulled, something will happen. What happens depends on where it is pulled. It can only be pulled by star-spinning into it. | ||
61 | 1-Up Mushroom | Anytime Mario grabs one of these little green mushrooms, he earns an extra life. Mario should always be on the lookout for 1-Up Mushrooms (Luigi should be on the lookout too!) | ||
62 | Star Bits | Twinkle, twinkle, little star... Star Bits are vital in Super Mario Galaxy. Mario must collect as many of these as he can to use as ammo and to feed Hungry Lumas. Mario gets an extra life for every 50 Star Bits he collects. | ||
63 | Koopa Shell | Red Koopa Troopa Shells can be used as weapons to fend off enemies throughout Super Mario Galaxy. Like the Green Shells, Mario can hold Red Shells, not ride them. If Mario throws the Red Shells near an enemy, the shell will try to hone in on that enemy until it hits something. Underwater, Red Shells can allow Mario to swim faster too. |
Locations[edit]
# | Image | Name | Description | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Front | Backside | |||
64 | Bouncing Down Cake Lane | Bouncing down Cake Lane in the Toy Time Galaxy, Mario must traverse a series of planetoids made of yummy desserts like giant tarts, ice-cream cones, chocolate bars, and of course birthday cake! Find the birthday candles and blow them out by spinning next to them. But watch out, this move may prompt an attack from a mean-spirited mole. | ||
65 | Pull Star Path | There is seemingly no place a Power Star might not be hidden, even among the floating debris in the Space Junk Galaxy. Mario must navigate a Pull Star path around this galaxy, including a carefully executed swing through Blue Star Capsule Planet. Grab the Pull Star located in the center of this capsule, which will swing Mario into its gravity field. (Watch for creepy spiders on the last leg for the Power Star!) | ||
66 | King Kaliente's Battle Fleet | Once Mario gets to the top of this planet in the Good Egg Galaxy, he finds it is littered with half-buried blocks. It's tempting to climb up to grab all the coins, but if he does, he becomes visible to his enemies. Mario needs to focus on the Launch Star, which is located on top of the Bullet Bill cannons and protected by Electrogoombas. Mario must spin them away to claim the prize. | ||
67 | Dirty Tricks of Major Burrows | In the Gusty Garden Galaxy, navigating the Dirty Tricks of Major Burrows mission, a Launch Star rockets Mario to the apple planets. Along the way, he travels right through the center of this ring-shaped world. As Mario collects the giant coins and Star Bits, watch out for the giant, thorny vine that rings this planet. Grab all of the coins and bits and head for the Launch Star. | ||
68 | Mario's First Journey | On his first stop in the galaxy, Mario learns how to navigate the gravity field and avoid the life-threatening black hole, which is in the center of this little planet. Mario can also use his newfound ability to Star Spin to shatter crystals that have encased Star Chips. Once Mario collects all five, he can assemble the Launch Star and rocket to the next galaxy. | ||
69 | A Prologue to the Comet Observatory | This metal planet is plagued by Goombas, so Mario needs a quick way to get rid of these baddies. Star-Spin next to the planet's tall spire and send a shock wave that stuns all the enemies. Grab the key from the Luma, and launch to the next metal planet, where an even bigger Goomba awaits. Here, Mario must free a Grand Star and launch to the Comet Observatory where the real challenges begin. | ||
70 | Mario in Training | After Bowser's attack and blast that sent Mario drifting out into space, our hero wakes up on this planet. He's greeted by a Luma that wants to teach him important planet-hopping tricks. This is where he meets Rosalina, who grants him a critical power — the Star Spin. Mario will stop here again toward the end of his journey to acquire the power of flight from a Red Luma. | ||
71 | A Planet in the Gusty Garden Galaxy | Landing here from the previous grassy planet turned dirt-path central, Mario finds more of the same on this question-mark-shaped planetoid. Mario must rid the planet of three moles by Ground-Pounding the dirt to bring them to the surface and then Star-Spinning them out into the cosmos. (After exterminating all three moles, a very important gift is gained!) | ||
72 | Rocky Trails in the Gusty Garden Galaxy | This is one of the many lush planetoids in the Gusty Garden Galaxy. However, mixed in with the beautiful grass are some rocky dirt paths made by this galaxy's unwelcome inhabitants—moles! When these pesky creatures rear their ugly heads, Mario must avoid them, but he can Ground-Pound the dirt to bring them to the surface and then Star-Spin them out of sight. | ||
73 | A Snack of Cosmic Proportions | In the Snack of Cosmic Proportions mission, the reverse-gravity tower presents an interesting challenge to Mario. Once inside the capsule, up becomes down, and down becomes up. Follow the arrows on the walls to determine the direction of the gravity. Find the Launch Star in the clear dome at the top of the planet! | ||
74 | A Planet in the Space Junk Galaxy | On a mission to retrieve a Power Star from Tarantox the giant spider, Mario must stop on this glass-covered planetoid in the Space Junk Galaxy to collect an abundance of Star Bits. Before he blasts off this planet using a Launch Star, take note of the Hungry Luma, and be sure to go back to feed him all those Star Bits Mario collected. | ||
75 | Tarantox's Tangled Web | As Mario uses Sling Pods to traverse the Space Junk Galaxy, he discovers a large, mysterious, spiky, purple pod floating in deep space. He would rather avoid it, but the Power Star may be there. When Mario crashes into the pod's shell, it bursts open, revealing Tarantox, a giant three-eyed spider that Mario must battle for the Power Star! | ||
76 | A Planet in the Good Egg Galaxy | All of Mario's missions in the Good Egg Galaxy start here. It's the first stop in a planet-hopping mission to complete a Launch Star. This planet is not all it seems however. Defy gravity by running from the sunny top to the dark and shadowy bottom. Watch for Electrogoombas while you collect Star Bits and Coins. Mario will visit this planet multiple times in his adventures to defeat bosses and acquire Power Stars—even to rescue his brother, Luigi! | ||
77 | A Planet in the Terrace Galaxies | Mario's second stop in the Good Egg Galaxy is this peanut-shaped planetoid that has several boulders rolling around the planet. He should also avoid running into their ruts, since they slow him to a snail's pace. The best way to handle these rumbling menaces is to spin into their red surface areas to destroy them. | ||
78 | Home of Dino Pirahna[sic] | Landing on this planet seems uneventful. That is, until Mario makes his way to the other side. He spies a giant walking egg with a tail sticking out—definitely something to be investigated. Spin Mario against the large ball on the end of the tail to crack open the shell. Out bursts Dino Piranha — the boss of this world, who Mario must battle to gain the first Power Star in the Good Egg Galaxy. |

Errors[edit]
- The Spooky Speedster is referred to as an enemy, rather than a character.
- A few of the cards have misprints in the names.
- On the Home of Dino Piranha card, "Piranha" is misspelled as "Pirahna."
- "Baron Brrr" is misspelled as "Baron Brr."
- Kingfin is mistakenly called Bonefin, possibly due to his presence in the Bonefin Galaxy.
- The artwork on the Piranha Plant card is actually that of a Spiny Piranha Plant.
