Mario Party Superstars:

River Raiders is a 1-vs-3 coin-collecting minigame found in Mario Party 3 and Mario Party Superstars. Its name may be a reference to the Atari 2600 game River Raid.

Gameplay[edit]

One player in the Red Shell boat drives around to get coins, while the other three players on Green Shells collect the coins and coin bags together. There are some logs that float around the river. If a player hits a log, that player is temporarily unable to get coins. At the end of the minigame, the solo player and team get to keep the number of coins they collected, and the coins are added to their coin totals.

Ending[edit]

If the team of three or solo player has collected more than one coin, they do their winning animation. If they have collected no coins, the team players do their losing animations and the solo player continues steering the Red Shell boat.
