Parasol Plummet is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party 3 and Mario Party Superstars.

Overview

Parasol Plummet from Mario Party Superstars
Gameplay from Mario Party Superstars

Players fall through the sky with umbrellas, collecting coins along the way. By opening their umbrella, a player is shifted to the top of the screen, whilst closing it causes them to drop. There are Hammer Bros. on each side, throwing coins and coin bags, as well as hammers that stun a player briefly, also closing their umbrella. There is also a Fwoosh at the end, like in Awful Tower.

Notes

  • In Mario Party Superstars, Mario has no voice clip that corresponds to him getting a coin bag, unlike the other characters. This does not occur to Mario in other minigames with coin bags.
