Mario Party Superstars:

Dark 'n' Crispy is a Bowser minigame in Mario Party 6 (where it is written as Dark 'n Crispy) and Mario Party Superstars. It is also a 4-Player minigame in the latter. Its name is a pun on the phrase "light and crispy."

Introduction[edit]

The minigame starts with Bowser being lowered to the ground, and suddenly the lights become dark. Only the four lights being held by stone versions of Bowser's arms light up, then the minigame begins.

Gameplay[edit]

The object of the minigame is to avoid Bowser and his flame breath while not falling into the surrounding pit. Bowser may also quickly charge forward in a straight line, giving players that cannot see him less time to move out of the way. Though the players can see themselves and their opponents, they cannot see Bowser. If any players are remaining when the time runs out, they win.

In Mario Party Superstars, this minigame is also one of the possible minigames that can be played if the Bowser Minigame event is triggered when a player lands on a Bowser Space. During the Free Play mode, the last player standing automatically wins.
