Giant prickly plants[1] are a bigger variant of thorny flower that appears in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel. They behave just like their smaller variants and can be destroyed the same way. They are seen in the Good Egg Galaxy and Dusty Dune Galaxy.
Giant prickly plants reappear in Mario Party: Island Tour, where they are found only in the minigame Goomba to Maneuver, having the same appearance as their smaller variants in Super Mario 3D Land. Due to them being larger, they are harder to avoid.
