The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
Slam shut blocks[1] are blocks that only appear in Fuzzy Time Mine level in Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. They are yellow platforms that move out of walls, hit a wall or another slam shut block, and then retract. Some slam shut blocks have Green Stars behind them.
