Ultra-Sweet, Super-Rich Cake is a side quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. In this quest, Mario and Luigi must bring a cake of the same name to a boy on Desolatt Island.

Ultra-Sweet, Super-Rich Cake becomes available after linking Bulbfish Island and expires after the second visit to Fortress Zokket. Clearing the side quest awards three Super Candies.

Side quest

To initiate the side quest, Mario and Luigi must speak to two siblings on Desolatt Island. The brother wants an Ultra-Sweet, Super-Rich Cake, but his older sister is unable to give him what he wants due to there being no cake shop on the island. The Bros. must travel to the cake shop on Lottacoins Island and order that exact cake (which they receive for free due to them linking the island). Afterwards, the cake must be brought to the boy, who happily eats it and describes his experience in great detail. The siblings thank the brothers and they receive their reward, completing the side quest. The boy then requests mega-spicy and giga-chewy candy, causing his sister to become angry with him.

  • Blue gossip: "Ahhh! He's the father of that darling little boy and girl?"
  • Pink gossip: "That's absolutely right! And that nephew of mine just looooooves cake."
  • Blue gossip: "Why don't you visit them once in a while? Won't they be happy if you bring gifts?"
  • Yellow gossip: "I'm sure they'd be tickled if you were to bake them a cake or something!"
  • Pink gossip: "Well, my nephew is very finicky about his cake! Not like my husband, with his unrefined palate. He has one comment about everything I make."
