An Inviation to the Spa is the second side quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is unlocked after either completing Coming Home or linking Florall Island. It expires upon entering Fortress Zokket for the second time.
Side quest
Some unnamed NPCs have gathered near the pink Gossip's husband lying near a cliff and are worried about him. He even cries for help. Upon the brothers arriving, they find out that he was only dreaming about becoming trivial. After looking around, he realizes that the nearby NPCs are worried about him and explain that he was taking a nap. After seeing him okay, the NPCs then leave. The pink Gossip's husband then explain why he came to Raynforst Island and has a back issue. Mario and Luigi then tell him to go to Shipshape Island and they take him to the blue pipe.
If he is talked to before the spa is built, a green Toad tells him that he is opening a relaxation spot and then the pink Gossip's husband asks Mario and Luigi to join him. If he is talked to after the spa is built, he tells about how the spa helped him out and asks Mario and Luigi to join him for another one. In both cases, the reward is 2 Syrup Jars.
In-game description

Gossips' dialogue
The following quotes are from the Gossips if they are spoken to while the side quest is available.
- Yellow Gossip: "Hon… Isn’t your husband toiling away on Raynforst? How is he doing?"
- Red Gossip: "Toiling, that I can’t say! But I bet he's in over his head over on Raynforst. My husband used to be a big deal in the city but he couldn't get there when the land broke up. He hasn’t known what to do for the longest time. I had to shove him out the door!"
- Blue Gossip: "Ah! So he finally found his calling on Raynforst! Wonderful!"
- Red Gossip: "I've said it before, and I'll say it again. My husband is great at working hard. Or hardly working!"
- All three: "Oh goodness! Ohohohohoho!"
