Hookbill the Koopa is a boss introduced in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. He is an enlarged red Koopa Troopa.

A similar boss called Knot-Wing the Koopa appears in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World, as a recurring middle boss in even-numbered worlds.
