The minigame takes place on a desk with a giant green binder with light-blue and pink papers on each side and four crayons (in ''Mario Party Superstars'', four more crayons, as well as a crayon case, are visible). Both teams must use large crayons to draw lines around the moving picture of a [[Toad (species)|Toad]]. Circling the Toad frees him from the picture and awards that team one point. As lines are drawn, they begin disappearing upon reaching a certain length. As more Toads are rescued, their pictures will begin moving around the play area. The first team to save five Toads wins. If neither team can rescue five before time runs out, the team that saved more Toads wins. If both teams rescued the same number of Toads, the minigame ends in a draw; in ''Superstars'', this is the case only if neither team rescued any Toads.

The minigame takes place on a desk with a giant green binder with light-blue and pink papers on each side and four crayons (in Mario Party Superstars, four more crayons, as well as a crayon case, are visible). Both teams must use large crayons to draw lines around the moving picture of a Toad. In Mario Party 3, if both teams rescued the same number of Toads, the minigame ends in a draw; in Superstars, this is the case only if neither team rescued any Toads.
