Mario Party Superstars:

Parasol Plummet is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party 3 and Mario Party Superstars.

Gameplay

Players with umbrellas while falling through the sky (which is made out of blue-painted bricks) attempt to use them to grab coins. If a player closes their umbrella, they fall. If a player opens their umbrella, they can move to get coins while going up. Hammer Bros. that appear on the beanstalks on both sides throw coins, coin bags, and hammers to players. If a player gets hit by a hammer, their umbrella closes and they fall, rendering them temporarily unable to collect coins.

Trivia

  • In Mario Party Superstars, Mario uses his voice clip that plays when he obtains a coin bag or a treasure chest in most coin minigames whenever he catches a coin, and has no voice clip whenever he catches a coin bag. This does not happen with the other characters.
