The Brrrning Sea, Great Lighthouse Island is the third Great Lighthouse Island visited in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is visited after Burnadette and Chilliam's wedding, and lighting it up opens a current to the Gulchrock Sea. Like Heatfreeze Island, this Great Lighthouse Island is part icy and part volcanic.

History[edit]

Upon entering the Great Lighthouse, Mario, Luigi, and Connie are captured by Zok Troopers. Mario and Luigi escape by sneaking past guards, then rescue Connie from Zok Troopers. They discover more citizens of Concordia captured and working to extract Glohm from Spite Bulbs, with several of these captives being Glohm-infected.

The trio encounter Zokket and the Extension Corps in the Great Lighthouse's basement, and learn that Zokket wants to get rid of everyone in Concordia entirely. As the others leave, Shun stays behind to assist Pipegunk in a battle against Mario and Luigi. After Pipegunk is defeated, the trio reach the top of the Great Lighthouse where Connie uses her Bonding Can to restore light to the Great Lighthouse.

During Mario and Luigi's first visit to Fortress Zokket, the Great Lighthouse alongside the other three fire the Glohmatic Quad-Ray directly at Bowser on Zokket's orders, transforming him into Glohm Bowser. When Concordia gets restored, the wave of Connectar from the Uni-Tree dispels the Glohm energy from the Great Lighthouse.

Patriarc Note[edit]

Mario, Luigi, and Snoutlet can find the third of Patriarc's notes here in a room with a Save Block, some ice spheres, and tanks containing Spite Bulbs following a Concordian guard patrol section. The note is next to the door that leads into the next room, and mentions an egg that Zokket keeps in his fortress:
