- —Message Block, Yoshi's New Island
Tulips are giant floating red flowers in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (and its reissue), Yoshi's Island DS, and Yoshi's New Island. In all titles, when an egg (or a spit-up enemy) enters a tulip, the flower begins to spit out eight stars. Yoshi's Island DS has a tulip-themed minigame involving three small tulips called Tulip Shooter.
