The course takes racers through various parts of the bathroom, such as counters, shelves, bathtubs, and drains. According to internal data, this course was created as a new course for Mario Kart Tour, despite being revealed and released for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe first, similarly to Sky-High Sundae and Yoshi's Island. Internally, the course is referred to as "Cnsw_58", implying it may have originally been intended to be the fourth and last course of the Cherry Cup.

Assets for the course can be found in the files of Mario Kart Tour, being assigned the course's internal abbreviation of "<tt>Mobbr</tt>". The "<tt>mob</tt>" opening indicates the course was developed as a new course for Mario Kart Tour, identically to Sky-High Sundae and Yoshi's Island. The assets in question include "<tt>JumpMobbr</tt>" and "<tt>JumpStickyMobbr</tt>".
Throughout the course are various items commonly found in a bathroom. The starting banner is held up by two cups, each containing scissors, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and a hairbrush, while two balloons hold up another banner. Various bottles of hair mousse, shampoo, soap, and other fluids are seen throughout the course labelled with brands referencing various characters, one of which is labelled Toad Barber. Other objects seen throughout the course include sponges, hula hoops, inflatable balls, bars of soap, a fan, and sunglasses.

Excluding courses announced simultaneously, this course and Rome Avanti mark the shortest period of time between the announcement of two new courses for the Mario Kart series, with only a 16-hour gap; beating the previous courses with this distinction, Piranha Plant Cove and Yoshi's Island, by five days. Additionally, this course and Piranha Plant Pipeline marks the shortest period of time between the release of two new courses for the Mario Kart series, with only a five-hour gap.

The starting line is located directly next to a sink full of water. The racers pass through the sink before being taken to a fork in the road leading into a bathtub containing a Hoop, an Innertube Goomba, a Toy Duck, and a Beach Ball. Racers can choose to drive along sponges that lead them into the water, or they can take a ramp to go directly into the tub. After swerving around Bath Bombs, racers soon drive down the drain. Here, the Binding Band from Super Mario Odyssey acts as an arch representing an off-road shortcut. After leaving the drain section, racers are along on the floor, avoiding soap next to a large fan. A half-pipe is located along the left turn afterwards. Racers then take a Glide Ramp over a toilet, which leads to one of two possible paths. The path on the bottom is made of towels and leads to the finish line. The upper path is accessible via a Jump Boost from a column of water spouting from the toilet and takes place along a wooden shelf which has a Glide Ramp at the end that takes players over an alternate finish line that hovers over the regular one. Players can trick off the faucet, as well as a few bottles. One route off to the side accessible through careful maneuvering or the glider branches off into a path with a normal ramp and a slightly longer one with a Dash Panel ramp and Double Item Box that then allows racers to trick off the leaves of the Mushroom Trampoline above. There is also the option to drive along the railing next to the sink, which contains some item boxes and a Dash Panel. Should this path be taken, the aforementioned Mushroom Trampoline will lead players back to the bathtub.

Squeaky Clean Sprint is the only new course in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that features half-pipes.

Squeaky Clean Sprint appears in Mario Kart Tour starting from the Vacation Tour. The course has few visual changes, but is slightly scaled down compared to its appearance in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It was the final non-city "new" course to be added to Mario Kart Tour.

The course now features ramps made of clothespins along the soapy section of the course, and there is now a group of coins in the air after the sink section at the beginning of the course. The Toy Duck is now outside the Hoop, floating alongside a Toy Goomba which replaces the live Innertube Goomba, and the starting grid is now blue instead of white. The toothbrushes located on the right side near the starting banner are replaced with a comb, and another comb was placed on the opposite side. The slope leading up to the bathtub is much longer and has steps that can be tricked off of. The ramp leading into the bathtub is now made of paper, as opposed to the metal ramp used in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. While the current in the drain section is still present, the Item Boxes are static. The Binding Band now has its original white gem instead of a red one and its Inverted Pyramid pattern is more visible, making it more closely resemble its original appearance in Super Mario Odyssey. The balloons holding up the larger starting banner now sport MKT 095CB.png with "MARIO KART TOUR" written on them. The water column is now always present, but its height fluctuates, meaning it may be too low for players to reach the upper route. The blow dryer on the upper route is now turned on. Despite the minimap removing the side routes along the sink counter, they are still all accessible. The rim of the sink is also no longer present on the minimap.

This course also appears as Squeaky Clean Sprint R (reversed), Squeaky Clean Sprint T (with ramps), and Squeaky Clean Sprint R/T (reversed with ramps). In the R and R/T variants, there is a column of water spouting from the sink instead of the toilet. In the T and R/T variants, racers drive across several Note Blocks, and there are multiple Toy Goombas and Toy Ducks scattered throughout. In the T variant, racers skip the tub and drain sections, instead driving on Kanaami Roads over everything, and the mushroom trampoline is gone. In the R/T variant, there is a glide ramp just before the sink.

Squeaky Clean Sprint is a race course featured in Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the fourth and last course of the Feather Cup, as well as in Mario Kart Tour debuting in the Vacation Tour.[1] The course is set in a giant bathroom, similarly to how GBA Ribbon Road is set in a giant bedroom. The course takes racers through various parts of the bathroom, such as counters, shelves, bathtubs, and drains. According to internal data, this course was created as a new course for Mario Kart Tour, despite being revealed and released for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe first, similarly to Sky-High Sundae and Yoshi's Island.[2] Internally, the course is referred to as "Cnsw_58", implying it may have originally been intended to be the fourth and last course of the Cherry Cup.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

Squeaky Clean Sprint in Mario Kart Tour
Squeaky Clean Sprint in Mario Kart Tour

The balloons holding up the larger starting banner now sport a badgeMedia:MKT 095CB.png with "MARIO KART TOUR" written on them.

References to the Super Mario franchise[edit]

Similarly to GBA Ribbon Road, the course contains a number of small references to various games from the Super Mario franchise in the background of the course:

  • A clock resembling a Para-Biddybud (and by extension a Biddybuggy) appears near the starting line.
  • A can of Princess Orange can be seen near the bathtub segment.
  • Stars pattern the bath curtains.
  • The tiled walls of the bathroom, seen most clearly around the bathtub, features the cloud sprite from Super Mario Bros. The color, too, makes the wallpaper resemble the sky from World 1-1.
  • Lakitu's Cloud can be seen on several balloons.
  • There is a mobile in the washroom with designs of Blooper Nannies and Blooper Babies.
  • The supports on the wall beside the mirror resemble Warp Pipes. The mirror itself is in the shape of a Mushroom.
  • Sunglasses resembling those Princess Peach wears while visiting the Lake Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey can be seen leaning on top of a suitcase.
  • There are some bottles on the counter that are colored green with lighter stripes, making them vaguely resemble the hills that appear in the backgrounds of grassland stages from multiple Mario games.
  • There is a bag on the counter labelled "Dino Dino Outdoor & Camping Goods", a reference to Dino Dino Jungle from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!.
  • There is a soap bottle modeled after a Yoshi's Egg on the counter near the starting line.
  • The Binding Band from Super Mario Odyssey can be seen in the drain section of the track.
  • The bars of soap littered around the course have various symbols carved into their sides including Mushrooms and Fire Flowers.
  • The box of bandages on the upper path of the course towards the end features Dr. Mario's red-blue capsule emblem.
  • In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the design on one of the towels resembles the arrow fields used in some of the Booster Course Pass courses.

Profiles[edit]

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

  • Nintendo Switch News app (US):
    • This course made its grand debut in this wave.
    • Yep, you're totally driving in a giant bathroom.
    • The bathtub and drains add some water sections. Water bunch of variety!
  • Nintendo Switch News app (UK): Don't get soap in your eyes - it's Squeaky Clean Sprint!
Here's a squeak - uh, we mean, "peek" - at one more course released as part of the fifth wave, which is available now: Squeaky Clean Sprint.
This extra-hygienic course is a brand new addition to the Mario Kart series. The track winds around a bathroom that's fit for a giant, with landmarks including an enormous sink and bathtub. In fact, not only does the bathtub and its drainpipe form an extended underwater section, there are also a few other features on the course that use water, making this the perfect course to cool down with on a sweaty summer afternoon.
