A Ghoul Shroom is an upgraded version of a Zombie Shroom in a platinum gray color. It can be found in ? Blocks in Super Paper Mario. It appears to be a normal mushroom, but it quickly turns into a Ghoul Shroom, moving around frantically after the heroes, dealing five damage with each hit. They have ten HP, so it might take more than one hit to defeat. They are first found in 5-2, in a large 3-D mass of blocks near a Tech Cursya. Coincidentally, it is placed near a Zombie Shroom. They drop a large amount of coins when defeated.
