Moving blocks[1] are objects in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. When hit by a Yoshi or an egg, these blocks turn into small platforms that move back and forth; blue ones move horizontally, and pink ones move vertically. If they get too far offscreen, they change back into blocks. They first appear in Jungle Rhythm... and make a few appearances in later stages.
