- “Medicine... I bet Bond Ore would work. Maybe they sell it on Desolatt Island!”
- —Ireen, Mario & Luigi: Brothership
It's Dorrie! is a side quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. In this quest, Mario and Luigi must obtain some Bond Ore from Desolatt Island to tend to an injured Dorrie with the help of Princess Peach and IDLE.
It's Dorrie! becomes available after linking Lottacoins Island and expires after finding Connie on Allsand Island. Clearing the side quest awards the IDLE Scarf.
Side quest
After the current that leads to Allsand Island opens up, a resident on Shipshape Island expresses surprise at something on the beach. Princess Peach, Starlow, IDLE and the Bros. head there and discover a Dorrie. The residents are afraid of it, but Princess Peach reassures them that Dorrie is good. Ireen sees that the Dorrie is injured, and Princess Peach asks if they can get some medicine for it. Ireen has the idea to get Bond Ore from Desolatt Island. She orders Dulles and Ellow to watch over the Dorrie while she, Loog and Princess Peach travel to Desolatt Island to retrieve the Bond Ore. Mario and Luigi set out too.
On Desolatt Island, Princess Peach is seen negotiating with a shady salesman who wants Peach to trade her crown for the Bond Ore as she didn't have enough and the shady salesman saying that they would easily go for 50,000 coins. Mario and Luigi intervene, and the salesman offers them a deal to purchase the Bond Ore for 99,000 coins, even though the actual price is five coins. Accepting or declining the offer does not matter, as a Snaptor suddenly swoops in and catches the salesman. Ireen and Loog jump from a high ledge and attack the Snaptor, causing it to release its grip on the salesman. The Snaptor is not defeated however, so Mario and Luigi must defeat it in a battle. The battle has two Snaptors and two Drillbies. After the battle, Ireen threatens to get another Snaptor if the salesman does not give them the Bond Ore. Loog then declares that no sketchy sales twerps are not allowed on Desolatt Island. Intimidated, the salesman hands over the Bond Ore before fleeing.
Back on Shipshape Island, Ireen treats the Dorrie's injuries by using the Bond Ore. The Dorrie then joins IDLE and gains a scarf created by Ireen's mom. Princess Peach then thanks IDLE, before the four strike their poses. The side quest is then complete.
