Mock Ups,[1] also known as Bogus Blimps,[1] are balloons in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its Game Boy Advance version. They are found in two levels: Shy-Guys On Stilts and Don't Look Back! When a Yoshi gets too close to Mock Ups, they inflate. If the Yoshi eats the balloon, a 1-UP is awarded. Failing to eat the balloon results in it exploding and revealing a Fly Guy that then flies away, while the Yoshi is injured. Hitting a Mock Up with an egg causes it to roll away. Their English name is a pun off of "1-UP" and mockup, and also how they mock the player by releasing a Fly Guy instead of giving a 1-UP if not eaten quickly.
