When hit, these blocks turn all of the associated course's spotlights on for a designated amount of time as indicated by the block's timer hand. The player can also hit the block again to reset the timer. These lights can reveal the location of invisible blocks and also defeat Boos that come in contact with the light. They similarly reveal the player character if they are using the Invisibility Badge.
