Knocken Slyde is a character found on Compac Islet in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. His name is a phonetic reading of "knock and slide", referencing how the ice blocks in his attractions slide after being hit by a hammer. When Mario and Luigi arrive on Compac Islet, they hear Knocken Slyde screaming for help. Once reached, he explains that he came to the islet to create ice block puzzles, but ended up getting trapped in one himself. After moving to stand beside the cannon, he rewards the brothers with a Stache Bean DX. He also created two other ice block puzzles that Mario and Luigi can complete for prizes.
