Shop Blocks are devices owned by Broque Monsieur in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its 3DS remake, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey. They are scattered throughout the Mushroom Kingdom, and provide a variety of services to Bowser. Their inventory increases gradually over the course of the game. When activated via a punch, the Shop Block plays a small jingle before Broque Monsieur appears on the monitor. Mario and Luigi can encounter these blocks in the overworld, but their hammers are not strong enough to activate them.
Their services consist of the following:
- Total HP and SP/BP recovery for ten coins via the Negative Ions.
- An item shop.
- An equipment shop.
- Information on the fifteen Blitties.
