Template:Species-infobox Troopeas are enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. They are the Beanbean Kingdom counterpart to Koopa Troopas. Their name is a portmanteau of "Troopa" and "pea", the latter of which is a legume like a bean.

Troopeas have dark blue shells and sprouts sticking out of their heads; they appear as quadrupeds in the original game, but in the remake they are bipedal and wear shoes, more akin to modern Koopa Troopas. Troopeas are found mainly in the south-eastern area outside Beanbean Castle Town, near Woohoo Hooniversity, and are often accompanied by Parabeanies. A winged variant of Troopeas called Paratroopeas can be found in some of the other areas outside Beanbean Castle Town, and later in the game, stronger red-shelled versions called Elite Troopeas appear in Gwarhar Lagoon.
