A Sproutle Vine[1][2] (also shortened to Sproutle)[1][2] is a type of vine found in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The only difference between a Sproutle Vine and a normal vine is that a normal vine is straight, while a Sproutle Vine is twisted. Mario or Luigi can climb a Sproutle Vine by jumping on it and the player shaking the Wii Remote. At the end of the vine, the player character can either jump off or just land on the next planet if there is one. Sproutle Vines often appear after either defeating Piranha Plants or by breaking open rocks or stone wheels.
