Little Lost Toad is the tenth side quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is made available after linking Merrygo Island. It expires after obtaining the Ampberries on Wayaway Island. The reward for this quest is a Bros. Hammer.

Side quest

A red Toad at Merrygo Island tells that Mario and Luigi he came here with Princess Peach and that he lost sight of the other Toad after Mario and Luigi are convinced that they were real. When a bird flies by, the Bros. find the location of the green Toad, who is surrounded by Snaptors. Hitting an orange ! block allows Mario and Luigi to get to him. After battling the four Snaptors in battle, they go back to the entrance and green Toad thanks Mario and Luigi, and the red Toad tells them that they will head to Shipshape Island.

In-game description

  • "You can hear the Toad screaming for help—you better hurry and rescue them!"

  • Blue gossip: "No, haven’t you heard? A Toad’s gone astray on Merrygo Island!"
  • Pink gossip: "What a shame for a Toad to go the wrong way in life… Someone should give that Toad some advice."
  • Blue gossip: "No, I mean lost! In that big maze they’ve got there."
  • Yellow gossip: "Are you saying that WE should go there?"
  • Blue gossip: "Heavens, no! then they’d need to send a search party for us!"
