Jewel blocks (also capitalized)[1] are shiny, lavender-colored crystalline blocks that prominently appear in the level Jewel-Block Cave in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Jewel blocks often contain items or Talking Flowers, and can be broken in two hits by jumping or ground pounding into it, or one hit in Drill form. Enemies such as Spinies and Konks can also break them. Jewel blocks vary in size.
