Jewel blocks are shiny lavender-colored crystalline blocks that prominently appear in the level Jewel-Block Cave in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Jewel blocks often contain items or Talking Flowers, and the blocks can be broken in two hits by jumping or ground-pounding into them or one hit in Drill form. Enemies such as Spinies and Konks can also break them. Jewel blocks vary in size.
