First appearance | Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (1992) |
Skull Platforms[1] are skull-shaped blocks with flashing eyes that appear in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Six serve as platforms over lava in the middle of Mario's castle, after the Genkottsu. Once jumped on, they quickly crumble away, so the player must jump off of them immediately. The first two appear next to each other over the first lava pit, while the next ones are spaced further apart.
