Pumpkin Zone Level 3[1] is the third stage of the Pumpkin Zone in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. It takes place in a haunted house. The music in the stage is a combination of Super Mario Land's coin room theme and the main theme of the game.
Layout[edit]
The level starts out with five ? Blocks and a Ghost Goomba, followed by a corridor with another Ghost Goomba, with six pipes in the ceiling. The third pipe leads to a small room with coins. The following area contains fading invisible blocks and four ? Blocks, the one at the top containing a Carrot.
Mario must avoid some Boos to make it to the next section, where some coins can be found. There are five pits Mario is able to fall down and get back up. The third pit has invisible/flashing blocks and a ? Block containing a Fire Flower. The fourth pit is filled with Hidden Blocks. Finally, the fifth pit has a Boo near the bottom.
After that are two pipes and a Mid-Point Bell. The first pipe contains a Venus Fire Trap, while the second takes Mario down to an area with several blocks, including bricks, ? Blocks, and Hidden Blocks. One of the ? Blocks contains a Fire Flower, and another has a 1-Up Heart inside.
There is then a section with Boos and invisible/flashing blocks above a floor of spikes, with a Hidden Block containing a carrot in the area. At the end of the level, Mario can head down to reach the Goal area, with a coin arrow pointing up to the door Mario can enter to unlock the secret exit to Secret Course 5.
