Variant of Thwomp
Comparable

Karamenbo[1] are obstacles in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. These Thwomp-like objects are huge spiked cylinders made up of four independently spinning segments that crash down from above when Mario draws near, before slowly rising to the ceiling. They appear only in Mario's castle, and they cannot be destroyed, only avoided. Bigbees from earlier in the game have the same behavior.
