The Leaf Cup logo in Mario Kart 8.

The Leaf Cup is a cup that appears in the Nintendo DS game Mario Kart DS, the Wii game Mario Kart Wii, the Nintendo 3DS game Mario Kart 7, and the Wii U game Mario Kart 8. The cup has the emblem of the Super Leaf originally from Super Mario Bros. 3 (Super Mario 3D Land for Mario Kart 7 and 8) on it. In the Leaf Cup, the player competes certain race courses from previous Mario Kart games. The Leaf Cup usually contains tracks from the Flower Cup, Star Cup, and Special Cup, though Mario Kart DS featured a sole track from the Super Circuit Lightning Cup and Mario Kart 7 featured a sole Mushroom Cup course. The Leaf Cup is slightly more difficult when compared to the Banana Cup. Just like the Star Cup, the tracks are usually as long as the ones in the Flower Cup and the Banana Cup. However, its difficulty is on par with the Star Cup.
