A Question Coin.
A Question Coin is a special Coin in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. When one is obtained one of the following occurs:
- A Mario theme will play and a line of musical notes will appear for Mario to collect, usually causing one or three 1-Up Mushrooms to appear or in a rare case, a Power Star.
- An accumulation of Star Bits or Coins will appear for Mario to collect.
- A power-up will appear.
- Another question coin will appear.
They appear in many galaxies, like the Good Egg Galaxy in the prequel and the Sky Station Galaxy in the sequel.
