Slurples are health-sucking space leeches in Super Mario Galaxy. They seem to look very similar to Swoopin' Stus and/or Poinks from Super Mario Sunshine. Slurples have light blue skin, big eyes, and snouts. They move by bouncing and will attack by latching onto Mario and sucking health from him like alien leeches. In addition to damage Mario's movement speed is slowed while a Swoopin' Poink is attached to him. Slurples act similar to the Fuzzys in the Paper Mario series. If they are hit by a Star Bit, they will disappear and become three Star Bits instead of one.
