Spranglers[1] are enemies in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are dark gray-striped spiders with a brown head. Spranglers hang from ceilings and overhangs by a thread of silk. Spranglers swing back and forth on their threads to try and damage the player character. They can be defeated by jumping on them or with two spins. They release a coin or three Star Bits, depending on how they are defeated.
