Two teams have to race using handcars. On a curve, the handcar has to be leaned to the left or right so that it continues without losing speed. In ''Mario Party'' and ''Mario Party Superstars'', leaning too much results in the team falling down into the [[lava]], after which that team is out for the rest of the minigame. If both teams fall, the minigame ends in a draw. However, it is not possible to fall off the track in ''Mario Party 2'' and ''The Top 100'' (despite the former's Advice section in the rules suggesting players can). The first team to reach the end wins. In ''Mario Party'' and ''Mario Party 2'', if five minutes pass, the minigame ends in a draw.

Gameplay

It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information. Reason: Time limit in Top 100 and Superstars

Two teams have to race using handcars. On a curve, the handcar has to be leaned to the left or right so that it continues without losing speed. In Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars, leaning too much results in the team falling down into the lava, after which that team is out for the rest of the minigame. If both teams fall, the minigame ends in a draw. However, it is not possible to fall off the track in Mario Party 2 and The Top 100 (despite the former's Advice section in the rules suggesting players can). The first team to reach the end wins. In Mario Party and Mario Party 2, if five minutes pass, the minigame ends in a draw.

In Mario Party 2 and The Top 100, there is a jump halfway through the track. In Mario Party 2, when a team is approaching the jump, "SPEED UP!" appears on-screen; depending on whether or not the team is at maximum speed after clearing the jump, "GOOD!" or "MISS" will appear.
