Paddle Battle is a 1-vs-3 Coin-collecting minigame in Mario Party.
Overview[edit]
The four players all ride an inflatable boat down a river. The solo player as well as the team players competitively direct the boat to their opponent's shore to obtain their Coins. The obstacles include Spear Guys and rocks along the river. The side with the most Coins by the end wins. If neither side receives any Coins, the victory theme plays while they do their losing poses.
It costs 50 Coins to buy Paddle Battle from the Mini-Game House once it becomes available.

Notes[edit]
- Paddle Battle is one of the minigames infamous for giving players injuries on their hands, besides Deep Sea Divers, Pedal Power, Cast Aways, and Tug o' War. The Mario Party Superstars version has a disclaimer on the rules screen that warns players to not turn the stick with their palm to avoid hand injury and stick damage. A similar warning is shown in the Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online re-release of Mario Party and advises the same thing.
