Mallet-Go-Round is an Item minigame found in Mystery Land in Mario Party 2. Its name is a pun on "merry-go-round," a type of carnival or amusement park ride.
Gameplay[edit]
The player attempts to use a hammer to knock two blocks down on a roulette to get the item they desire. Each time the player knocks down a block, the remaining blocks on the roulette change direction and spin faster. If the player knocks down Baby Bowser's block (which is a single one, rather than two like the items), they get nothing. If the player loses by running out of time, the roulette simply stops.
Controls[edit]
- – Swing hammer
In-game text[edit]
- Game Rules – "Blocks spin around and around! Use the hammer to hit 2 blocks and knock an Item down."
- Advice – "Each time you hit a block, the remaining ones spin faster and faster. Watch your timing! Don't rush!"
