A coin bag is a collectible found in the Mario Party series. Coin bags are worth five coins each and are usually present in coin-collecting minigames, although they are rarer than the singular coins. In Mario Party 4, some coin bags appear in the minigame Paratrooper Plunge, where they give the player five coins each. In Mario Party 5, the Koopa Bank Capsule is represented by a coin bag. In Mario Party 8, MC Ballyhoo mentions coin bags by name at the start of the last five turns. Also in that game, near the end of a Party Tent game, MC Ballyhoo fills the board with coins on every space but places coin bags on Red Spaces.
