Paratrooper Plunge is a 4-Player coin-collecting minigame from Mario Party 4.

Introduction

The introduction to Paratrooper Plunge

A yellow plane is seen flying through the sky, with the four players inside it. After it does a loop before the sun, the players jump out, each one with a balloon on their back as they float swiftly downward. They pass through the cloud, and the game starts.

Gameplay

The goal of the minigame is to move around and collect as many coins as possible. Players skydive from an airplane with customized balloons strapped to their backs. There are individual coins and bags of coins worth five coins each. Along the way, Koopa Paratroopas, Fly Guys, and the like impede the characters' progress. Hitting an enemy results in a player's balloon deflating a little. Hitting four enemies eliminates a player from the minigame. However, the player still keeps any coins they collected up to that point.

Ending

The ending to Paratrooper Plunge

All remaining players float slowly onto the island, release their balloons, and do winning animations (or do losing animations if no coins were collected). Eliminated characters are not seen. If all characters were eliminated, they will be seen on the island, dizzy.
