The Bowser Bomb

The Bowser Bomb is an item in Mario Party 2. It can be obtained from item minigames or received forcefully from a shop in Bowser Land. The Bowser Bomb is the only item to activate on its own before the minigame starts at the end of the turn, and the announcer says "Got Item?" confusedly upon obtaining it. It summons Bowser where Baby Bowser is, then he rolls three Dice Blocks (not unlike a Golden Mushroom) before roaming around the board. After stealing Coins from any player he comes by, Bowser disappears from the board.

Notes[edit]

Using a Plunder Chest to steal a Bowser Bomb and then attempting to use it manually causes this text to appear.
The text box shown when attempting to use a Bowser Bomb after stealing it from a Plunder Chest
  • The only way that a player can attempt to use a Bowser Bomb manually is by stealing it through using the Plunder Chest, but it just shows the dialogue, "You cannot use a Bowser Bomb here.".
  • The Bowser Bomb is Donkey Kong's favorite item because of his confidence that he can down Bowser in a fight, according to the Mario Party 2 manual and character selection screen.
