Boo's Haunted Bash is a board in Mario Party 4. It is hosted by Boo, who built it because he loves scaring others. Passing the Red Boo in the middle of the board makes it disappear with the bridges, later reappearing if another player approaches. The player can ride the Mystery Train, if the bridges are not present, until reaching a graveyard area. The two Happening Spaces activate a countdown to the Big Boo's arrival, stealing coins from every player to whomever summoned him at a price of 15 coins or a star for 150 coins.
The board has two unique minigames: the Item Minigame, the Horn of Plenty, involves playing one of three buttons on a big trumpet to release the item; and the Coin Minigame, Rhythm and Boo, involves pressing a sequence of keys on a piano, awarding a number of coins depending on the player's performance.
After winning in Story Mode, the player is challenged to Mystic Match 'Em, and winning it earns them Boo's present.
