Goombas wearing Ice Skates appear in Super Mario 3D World, only appearing in the levels Snowball Park and Ty-Foo Flurries. If the player character gets close to one, they start skating toward them. Coming into contact with an Ice Skate Goomba will damage the character, though the Goomba can be defeated like any other Goomba. Some of them will drop their Ice Skate if defeated.
In the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, two cat-like Goombas wearing Ice Skates appear at the beginning of Slipskate Slope if the current mission is "Key to the Cat Shine".
