- Not to be confused with Chain Chomplet.
The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
Chomp Pups are small Chomps that appear in the video game Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. They act exactly like their bigger counterparts but are smaller and have high-pitched barks. Some Chomp Pups (such as the ones in Chompworks Galaxy) can go in a circular line, something that normal Chomp Heads cannot.
However, regardless of their size, they are still invincible besides getting hit by Rainbow Mario, getting hit by a Stretch Plant and holding them with the Co-op Player so they run into each other. They release Star Bits when defeated.

Trivia
- The sound that the Chomp Pups make when they bark is similar to the sounds that Chain Chomplets make.
