The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an acceptable name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.

Starbags are presumably close relatives to Moneybags, and appear in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel. They commonly appear in places with sand, dirt or beaches, such as Deep Dark Galaxy. Instead of giving away coins and 1-Up Mushrooms, as a Moneybag does, they give away twenty Star Bits upon being defeated. They won't disguise as a coin either, but it will turn invisible and make visible footprints. If Mario can successfully Spin at the spot where the Starbag was, it will come out and be knocked unconscious for a few seconds. Mario can also toss a shell or a fireball at it, but Star Bits just bounce right off it. The Starbag cannot harm Mario in any way. If Mario can attack the Starbag in this state before it reverts to normal, it will be defeated. A visual difference between Starbags and Moneybags is that a Starbag looks like a sack, and a Moneybag like a Clamp-like purse. Also, Starbags have white eyes with black pupils and blue irises, peering out a black gap, while Moneybags have yellow, glowing oval pupils. They also appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2, only on Starshine Beach Galaxy.
