Skull Platforms[1] are objects in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are skull-shaped blocks with flashing eyes. Six serve as platforms over lava in the middle of Mario's castle, after the mechanical fists. Once jumped on, they quickly crumble away, so the player must jump off them immediately. The first two appear next to each other over the first lava pit, while the next ones are spaced farther apart.
