The Wario Wing is a glider from the Mario Kart series. It is a counterpart to the Super Glider with an image of Wario's eyes, nose, and mustache placed on a standard glider with a yellow/purple design and a zigzag edge.

History[edit]

Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

The Wario Wing first appears in Mario Kart 8 as an unlockable glider. Similarly to the Super Glider, Waddle Wing, Plane Glider, Gold Glider, and Paper Glider, the glider doesn't give any special boosts or stats; however, in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it slightly boosts weight while slightly lowering traction.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a CPU Wario and Waluigi occasionally use this glider during races. In this game, the Wario Wing instead only shares stats with the Gold Glider and Paraglider.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

The Wario Wing returns in Mario Kart Tour, where it is classified as a Super glider. This glider provides better chances of getting Bullet Bills from Item Boxes and increases the points earned for hitting racers while under the effects of a Bullet Bill.

Three variants of the Wario Wing appear in this game: a Waluigi-themed variant called the Waluigi Wing, a spider web-themed variant called the Spider Glider, and an outer space-themed variant called the Planet Glider. The Waluigi Wing also has the Super classification, while the latter two gliders have the High-End classification.
