Glohm Capnap
A Glohm Capnap in Mario & Luigi: Brothership
First appearance Mario & Luigi: Brothership (2024)
Variant of Capnap

Glohm Capnaps are enemies in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are Capnaps that have been infected with Glohm, and appear at the Great Lighthouse Island of the Lushgreen Sea when people in Concordia start getting infected with Glohm. Design-wise, Glohm Capnaps appear just like their regular selves, but their eyes glow red and a shadowy particle effect emanates from them. Stronger, blue versions called Glohm Capnap Rs can be found later in the game as a result of Capnap Rs contracting Glohm when Reclusa hijacks Concordia after awakening.

Battle

In battle, Glohm Capnaps fight the same way as their regular counterparts. However, their stats are higher, they attack faster and their attacks have the ability to inflict the Glohm status on a bro if not dodged.

Once defeated, they also explode into a shockwave of Glohm that the bros have to jump over to avoid damage. This does not occur if the Glohm Capnap is dizzy or frozen when it is defeated.
