Overview[edit]

Pushy Penguins in Mario Party Superstars
Gameplay from Mario Party Superstars

The minigame opens with a scene of a penguin exiting from an igloo, waddling to the very left, and then hopping into the sea.

The players run between several penguins marching from the right before moving faster and jumping into the water. If a player falls into the water, especially if a penguin pushes them in, they are disqualified. As the minigame goes along, larger penguins appear as well. Either the later player remaining or anyone left after 30 seconds wins. If no players are left, it is a tie.

The minigame ends with the penguins cheering as the winner does their victory pose, though not if time has run out.

Pushy Penguins was originally titled Penguin's Parade, translated directly from its Japanese name. It is playable in the Mario Party 5 demo on the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! bonus disc.
