Beam Team is a 1-vs.-3 minigame from Mario Party 5. Its name is a pun on the term "dream team." The setting of the minigame is based on real-life Stonehenge.

Introduction[edit]

The solo player is first seen. The other three players in UFOs appear and try to capture the solo player, while the solo player escapes.

Gameplay[edit]

The three players in UFOs must move around and capture the solo player with their tractor beams, while the solo player has to avoid them. The players controlling the UFOs have to avoid knocking into each other, or they stop moving for a moment. The team players win if they capture the solo player. The solo player wins if they survive until 30 seconds are up.
