History

Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The Wario Wing first appears in Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as an unlockable glider. Similarly to the Super Glider, Waddle Wing, Plane Glider, Gold Glider, and Paper Glider, the glider doesn't give any special boosts or stats; however, in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it slightly boosts weight while slightly lowering traction. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a CPU Wario and Waluigi occasionally use this glider during races.

Mario Kart Tour

The Wario Wing returns in Mario Kart Tour, where it is classified as a Super glider. When this glider is used, the chances of getting Bullet Bills from Item Boxes is increased, as well as the bonus points earned for hitting racers with one.

Three variants of the Wario Wing appear in this game; the Waluigi Wing, the Spider Glider and the Planet Glider, the former also being classified as a Super glider, while the latter two are classfied as High-End gliders.
