A Gravity Spotlight is a special light that shines on a wall or floor that makes the player who passes it have a drastic change of Gravity thereby either sucking the player up into it or pushing the player away, therefore giving them the power to walk on walls. These lights are found in only one level (the very final one to be exact) of Super Mario Galaxy in Bowser's Galaxy Reactor's level The Fate of the Universe. In this level, there are a total of eight spotlights, three of which will pull Mario to the next Planet and five which will allow Mario (or Luigi) to walk on walls. They reappear in Super Mario Galaxy 2 with the same effect.

A Gravity Spotlight is a special light that shines on a wall or floor and has its own pull of Gravity. When Mario (or Luigi) walks into a Gravity Spotlight, he'll either be pulled towards it or pushed away from it, allowing him to walk on walls or travel between planets. In Super Mario Galaxy, Gravity Spotlights are found only in the mission "The Fate of the Universe" in Bowser's Galaxy Reactor. There are a total of eight Gravity Spotlights found here, three of which will pull the player from one planet to another and five of which will allow the player to walk on walls to reach different areas. Gravity Spotlights reappear in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and serve the same purpose. Template:BoxTop
